Join Dutch Drilling Teen Kickboxing classes at Black Rock Martial Arts, tailored for ages 12-17! Bring your shin pads and join our high-energy workouts combine kickboxing techniques with cardio exercises to enhance fitness, strength, and endurance. Suitable for all skill levels, these classes focus on building coordination, agility, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Led by experienced instructors, teens learn essential self-defense skills and enjoy a dynamic, engaging workout. It’s a great way to stay active, make friends, and feel empowered, while having fun and reaching fitness goals.
We’re excited to announce some updates to our schedule and a few changes to our classes starting September 3, 2024! As we continue to grow and improve, we’ve added some new programs and made slight adjustments to ensure we offer the best possible experience for everyone.
You’ll notice new class times and programs for both kids and adults, including our expanded kickboxing and grappling options. We’ve also added a kids’ sparring program and a free invite-only grappling class, so make sure to check out the details! For our adult members, we’ve introduced an MMA wrestling class and a new BJJ session on Saturdays—great opportunities to refine your skills.
Additionally, we’ve included a few reminders on health, safety, and etiquette to keep things running smoothly for all. From parking guidelines to hygiene tips, these little updates will help ensure our gym remains a welcoming and efficient space for everyone.

Schedule Change (Effective Sep. 3, 2024):
7:15 AM Adult Kickboxing starts on Tuesdays and Thursdays (previously 7:30 AM).

New Kids Kickboxing Sparring Program:
Fridays, 5:00-5:45 PM on the mezzanine.
Kids must have all required gear: headgear, mouthguard, chest protector, shinguards, gloves, and a cup (for boys).
Kids Grappling Classes (Invite Only):
Mondays and Wednesdays, taught by Instructor Lance.
Free class but may occasionally be canceled.
Parents must follow Instagram or Facebook for class updates.
Dutch Drilling Classes:
Mondays: Teen Kickboxing.
Fridays: Adult Kickboxing.
Focus on controlled drills, ideal for those wanting to learn sparring.
Required gear: shinguards, gloves, mouthguard, and cup.
New Adult MMA Wrestling Class:
Saturdays, 9:00-10:00 AM.
Teen + Adult BJJ Class:
Saturdays, 10:00-11:00 AM.
Sunday Open Gym:
Year-round from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM for students 15+.
Sunday Free Adult Wrestling Class:
9:00-10:00 AM, taught by Lance.
May be canceled occasionally; check Instagram/Facebook for updates.
Parking Reminder:
Do not park in front of any bay doors other than their own, especially late at night.
Health Guidelines:
If you or your child have any skin infection or illness, do not attend the gym.
Seating for Parents (Mezzanine Classes):
If 10 or more students are participating, avoid sitting on the floor space.
Use the upstairs or downstairs benches if needed.
Footwear in Bathrooms:
Wear footwear when entering the bathrooms (flip-flops are available).
Hygiene and Clothing:
Bring a change of shirt if doing two classes in a row (for all ages).
